Barnes and Noble offers several Nook tablets and eBook readers that allow you to read your books anywhere. There are several options to choose from with varying storage and screen sizes. These eBooks also come in different colors and offer different features.

The Nook Color eReader has a 7-inch screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution LCD display. You can connect to Wi-Fi and use the Nook as a tablet to browse the internet, in addition to using it as an eBook. The display allows you to customize the color scheme and the font size. It has 512MB of memory, 8GB of internal storage that can expand up to 32GB with a microSD card, and runs on an 800MHz Texas Instruments ARM Cortex-A8 processor. The eReader can store up to 6,000 books. The battery life lasts for about eight hours if the Wi-Fi is turned off. There are several apps preloaded onto the device.

The Nook Color will charge with a universal micro USB cable. However, it uses a modified connector that combines a 5-connector micro USB with a second 12-connector depth. If you use a universal micro USB to charge your Nook, it might charge at a slower rate.

There are several accessories available for the Barnes and Noble Nook. There are eBook cases and covers that come in a wide variety of colors with different designs on the front. Screen films are available to protect the screen. You can also get a stylus that allows you to write or tap on your tablet without touching the screen with your fingers. Stylus pens come in several different colors and typically work with all touchscreen surfaces. Micro SD cards can expand the amount of memory storage you have so you can download more books and apps. Earphones are also available, so you can listen to audiobooks or music when you use your Nook e-book reader.
