Gucci Heels

Today's Gucci may shy away from overt sex appeal in favor of creative director Alessandro Michele's love of all things quirky and zany, but past designers brought sultry designs to the runway. Tom Ford and his successor, Frida Giannini, brought a laser focus to accessories at Gucci and the heels show it. From polished pumps and chunky platforms, the Gucci girl morphed a few times, but always retained her hold on her femininity, which reflected in the patent leather finishes, the signature red-and-green grosgrain details, and the bold GG logos. Stepping into Gucci heels conjures excess, over-the-top glam and, of course, fashion-forward styling.
