With distinctive patent leather overlays lining the outer edges of the entire shoe, the Jordan 11 Barons black shoe uses a low-top silhouette and tieless laces to separate itself from other Jordans. A white-on-white color scheme in the midsole and the outsole contrast against the sheen of the upper's aforementioned overlays, framing a nubuck leather section on the heel's crown. A silver Jumpman is set into the center of the midfoot to provide branding for the shoe's front profile. On the translucent outsole are two herringbone insets, one shaped around the rear arch and the other contoured to cushion the balls of the feet.
