Nike has put a great deal of effort into crafting special women's-only shoes, many of which end up recombining and using elements from the classic Jordans of the past. This special Jordan Delta 2, released in a near-Bred colorway, is just such a shoe. "Bred" refers to the illustrious combination of black and red colorways that have adorned so many of the great Jordans of yore — and ultimately, the Chicago Bulls jersey. In this case, this shoe achieves the effect with a black mesh tongue and upper mixed with a few tastefully placed black suede overlays. Tabs on the heel, tongue, and side of the shoe, as well as a number "23" on the side opposite the side tab, are all red.
