The Jordan J23 Black sneaker combines a sense of style with a loose and casual look. The upper is all black, and most of it is made from very lightweight and breathable synthetic fabric. The bottom portion of the upper is overlaid with black leather that moves around the heel and across the entire length of the shoe in a jagged undulating pattern. A salient feature is its wide black midfoot strap. The strap secures the shoe to the foot, is made of scaly black leather, and has a small black Jumpman logo embedded into it. The collar, laces, and tongue are made of even darker black fabric than the rest of the upper. A black Jumpman sits on the tongue, and the sole is made of black rubber.
