This special black version of the Jordan Phase 23 features a core made from breathable yet durable black synthetic fabric and is held together by thick leather framing. Leather lines the rim of the toebox, runs up the midfoot and across the eyelet area, and lines the heel and the rest of the back with a tough, cage-like frame. A midfoot strap with a small gray Jumpman logo lends the shoe even greater stability. The thick sole has gray rubber in the front and black rubber everywhere else.
