    Lightweight, good screen

    I like the size, water resistant sealed case and removable battery and SD card slot. The battery life is just average, you can get 2 days if you don't get on internet and download/watch videos. I learned not to use Google Maps driving directions feature either, battery got hot and 40% of the battery was used up in an hour or two. I can get 2 days out of a charge if I only text message and make phone calls with limited internet usage. I have learned to look up a location on Google Maps, but not turn on the Turn by Turn Driving Directions, then I don't use much battery power. I usually keep GPS and WiFi turned off unless I need it. I notice that updating software over WiFi will drain battery as well, if you have a lot of downloads you may want to plug in to AC power. I like the Samsung ToolBox Bar that is customizable to have quick buttons to mute/vibrate sound and turn on/off other features. The Ultra-Low Power Mode saves a lot of battery power for trips where you can't recharge often, it turns the screen to Black/White Only and limits you Phone, Text Message, Internet, Clock/Alarm, Voice Recorder, Memo. The feature that is missing is the Calendar, I wish they had put that in the Ultra Low Power Mode. Overall a good compact phone with enough power and features for the average user.

    Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini White (International Version)

    I purchased two of these phones at the same time for the holidays. The good is that both phones now appear to be operating very nicely. The bad is that the listing I used to purchase these phones made no mention that they were the "International Version" which also required programming new connection information. After consistent problems with one phone with sending and receiving pictures, I took both phones to the local AT&T store where they attempted to change the connection again to no avail. Finally, I was advised to contact customer support by calling 611, and after about 40 minutes of telephone help, both phones were reprogrammed and now work fine. If not for this, I would have rated the phones a 5 star.

    Smaller Size Is Easy to Handle

    This phone is exactly as described. It has a small profile and fits easily into a pocket. It is sturdy. It does appear to have reasonable battery life and is fully compatible with most of the Android applications that are available. It is not the newest model but it is a very functional alternative to a larger phone. I replaced an S4 Mini and found the migration to the new phone to go remarkably well. If you need a phone that does most everything without a lot of extra bells and whistles this will work for you.
