Sonos Connect Home Internet & Media Streamers

It took all of 5 minutes to have this added to my existing set up. Like speakers it allows me to control its volume independently. This allowed me to add my very nice home theater equipment in to my SONOS sound stage which also free'd up 2 Play 1s that I can use in other places. This is a great option for people with higher end speakers/amps that have SONOS in use other places or just want to use the SONOS ap. There are some odd volume issues presented by this unit since you end up with two volume controls. In any case I am a SONOS fan for ease of use and the ap. Though the sound is good, higher end sound quality people may want to look elsewhere, which does allow this unit to allow use of the SONOS ap which is great.

The Sonos product world is the best in the business when it comes to home audio streaming. It is definitely not the cheapest option available, but the simplicity of setup and then ease of use can make up for that. Basically you plug it in to power and the network and in a few clicks you have it setup. Then you just login to your preferred streaming audio providers and off you go. This device is for sending audio out to another amplifier like a home theater receiver or a previously installed home audio system.

I keep looking for alternatives... Airport Streaming, Chromecast, Polk Omni, Etc., but none of the other solutions work as well and provide the ease of use, feature set and integration as Sonos gear if what you want is a wireless distributed home audio system. I only wish that Sonos was cheaper. At least we can find reduced prices on used Sonos gear here on Ebay.

Does what I need it to do. Interfaces with existing Sonos equipment to expand my music system. As with all Sonos devices that have been previously owned, a full factory reset is needed to clear the device and its current WiFi settings in order to allow it to find your WiFi and or your other Sonos equipment operating on your Sonos app.

Sonos Port - great addition for adding vinyl to my Sonos system. The only odd thing is choosing a different room name that the port belongs to. The port then shows up as a device you can cast to in that room. On rare occasion the port would not automatically stream the RCA inputs to the default speakers I had assigned.

Sonos Connect and the Bridge are top quality components to wifi ( not Bluetooth) stream music. Easy to set up, easy to use. If you have a quality sound system in need of the ability to stream music, spend the money, and get high quality equipment, buy Sonos!

Got the port to provide better internet radio/music to my vintage stereo setup. I will also be able to sync with other Sonos speakers to use the turntable, CD, and tape outputs on them. Does exactly what I wanted it to do.

The Sonos Port is a great product that does just exactly what it says it does. I use it to play my turntable over the Sonos network in our home.

sonos system is the best wireless system by far somewhat expensive and not quite as clear and crisp as a more expensive wired system but really good!

The best thing that could happen to my old Bang & Olufsen system. Streaming from my phone. Wireless is so much better than bluetooth.
