Price vs Value Should Now Make Most Anyone Smile ...

Even though this phone is now 3yrs old, it is, in my opinion one of the most beautiful phones Sony has ever made - I purchased both the Russo Red and Luminous Chrome versions - new old stock, factory unlocked and still sealed in their original boxes. The chrome is a starkly beautiful piece of art, but the candy-red is down-right stunning, with red anodized top and bottom caps. Sony's design and look has always stood apart from the crowd. I've always preferred the striking 'thin-square-slab' look of Sony's Z line phones compared to the 'rounded-off' others, but the power-button/fingerprint-scanner has got to be my favorite feature - blinding fast provided you keep the button clean and dry. Loaded with useful features like facial recognition, a stunning 801ppi screen, a much improved bluetooth connection info screen, fairly decent battery life for it's size/abilities, with a better battery management, Android 9.0 (Pie), 64g onboard memory with an expandable microSD card slot, last of the 3.5mm earphone jacks, and a still pretty impressive camera set-up. - also noted the XZ Premiums don't seems to suffer the heat build-up problems the previous Z5 Premiums had under full load - And it's so thin ... did I mention thin? This was an amazing flagship phone when released - and a fairly expensive one at the time - now it's not only the top-line phone it was, but today's prices are a true bonus, making it even a bigger and better value as well. ... still an incredible smartphone, even by today's standards - and price vs value now makes it even better!

End up getting 3 xz premiums

Bought first one for cheap but slightly beat up then got bother one much better condition and now bought wife a new one for quite a bit more. Extremely reliable phone and great battery life. Very thin profile vs the xz2 premium, in the end I got both xz premium and xz2 premium and xz3. All sony phones now. Not popular just because people don't know how good they are and sony don't sign with any carriers. Try getting the pure Japan models and pay 24 usd to unlock its worth it. Much cheap from from Japan.

I doubt this phone is brand new

I don't believe this is a brand new phone. There are marks all over the front screen. The leaflet attached looks photocopied. And it had 42% charge and when I charged it, it stopped at 75% and I could not get it to charge anymore. The cable seems loose. I do not know if the problem is with the charger or the phone and cannot afford to get it looked at and fixed at present. I am very unhappy. What a waste of money.
